Welcome!
I’m Shea Hanberg... I’m the owner & creator of Touch of Grace Quilting Co! My husband Mitch & I are the proud parents of 2 amazing kids. We live in a small town of Eastern Utah which we absolutely love.
How it all started:
I took a sewing class in high school as an “easy” art credit. Little did I know I would develop a love for quilting. This all started as something I used to do as a hobby for friends & family. I created a Facebook group back in June 2017 as a new stay at home mama as a creative outlet to document all of the blankets I had made overtime. I never thought it would turn into what it has today. I am so grateful for all of my friends and family who have “spread the word” throughout the years to help this grow and evolve into what it is now - my own small business.
I now am able to stay home with my babies full time and sew to my hearts content while employing multiple other stay at home mamas & grandmas who have the same goal.
When I started, I was fortunate enough to rent out a quilting machine from a friend and September 2020 I was finally able to purchase my own quilting machine! This has been a huge goal for me since I started and I’m so grateful for everyone who made it happen!
I wouldn’t be able to do it without the support of my husband and best friend who cheers me on, stays up to help me when I get behind, constantly is my muscles packing endless bolts of fabric, boxes, and totes. In 2022 we decided it was time to move the business from the house, so we drew up plans to build a shop in our back yard. Our shop was finally finished and we were able to move in February 2023.
When I’m not in my shop you’ll find me snuggled up with my babies watching a movie, reading a story, enjoying the fresh mountain air, or listening to music & soaking up the good weather on our back patio while our pups & little kids play!
